Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Creighton Prep Junior Jays (Omaha, NE), 9-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pius X upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Grand Island (Grand Island, NE) to battle the Islanders in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. The Islanders come into the test with a record of 8-3. Grand Island lost 7-4 in their recent non-league test against Columbus (Columbus, NE)

With the defeat, Creighton Prep falls to 11-10 on the season. The Junior jays travel to Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE) to battle the Thunderbirds in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 13-5. Bellevue West lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Millard South (Omaha, NE)
