California High School Baseball - University City defeats La Jolla
April 17, 2023: San Diego, CA 92122 University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA), 10-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, University City upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Centurions host Morse (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a match on Tuesday, April 18. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 0-11. Morse lost 10-0 in their recent league match against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA)
The Vikings (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Coronado (Coronado, CA). The Islanders go into the match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Coronado tipped Olympian (Chula Vista, CA), 6-2, in a non-league match.
