Illinois High School Lacrosse - Hersey can't get by Wheeling
April 17, 2023: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 In Monday's league test, the visiting Wheeling Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Hersey Huskies.
The Wildcats now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Prospect for a test on Thursday, April 20. Wheeling will face a Knights squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) in a test, on Thursday, April 20. Hersey will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL).
