Maryland High School Lacrosse - Friendly drops to Gwynn Park
April 17, 2023: Fort Washington, MD 20744 Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), 9-4 in a league battle.
The Yellowjackets now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fairmont Heights for a battle on Thursday, April 20.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a battle, on Monday, April 24. Friendly will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 8-6 league win over Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD).
