April 17, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20905 Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD), 13-5 in a league test.
With the win, Magruder upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Colonels host Wootton (Rockville, MD) to battle the Patriots in a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Thursday, April 18. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 0-4.
With the defeat, Blake falls to 0-2 on the season. The Bengals travel to Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD) to battle the Wolverines in a Montgomery County 3A/2A test on Saturday, April 20. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 0-9. Watkins Mill lost 27-2 in their recent non-league test against Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD)
