Illinois High School Baseball - East Dubuque holds off Eastland
April 17, 2024: East Dubuque, IL 61025 East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, East Dubuque upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Warriors host River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a Northwest Upstate Illini - West test on Friday, April 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-4. River Ridge/Scales Mound lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Byron (Byron, IL)
With the defeat, Eastland falls to 5-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Amboy (Amboy, IL) to battle the Clippers in a Northwest Upstate Illini - East test on Friday, April 19. The Clippers come into the test with a record of 5-7. Amboy lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL)
