April 17, 2024: Oak Park, IL 60302 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL) and the host Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), saw Lane Tech's volleyball squad beat Fenwick by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Lane Tech upgrades its record to 13-6 on the year. The Champions travel to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL) to play the Dolphins in a Chicago Public Gold bout on Thursday, April 18. The Dolphins go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Whitney Young won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL)
The Friars now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a non-league bout on Friday, April 19. Fenwick will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 17-2.
