April 17, 2024: Laurinburg, NC 28352 Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lumberton upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Colts in a test on Monday, April 22. The Colts come into the test with a record of 10-0. Cape Fear 5-5 in their recent non-league test against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC)
