Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT), 12-9 in a league test.

The Beavers now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Loomis Chaffee School for a Western New England Division 1 test on Saturday, April 20.

In their next game, the Wild Boars face the Phillips Academy Big Blue (Andover, MA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 20. Choate Rosemary Hall School will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Big Blue come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Austin Prep (Reading, MA).
