April 17, 2024: Chelan, WA 98816 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Chelan Mountain Goats (Chelan, WA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Bridgeport Mustangs (Bridgeport, WA), by a margin of 19-8.
With the triumph, Chelan moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Mountain Goats travel to Omak (Omak, WA) to play the Pioneers in a 1A Caribou Trail contest on Saturday, April 20. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 0-5. Omak lost 11-5 in their recent non-league contest against Brewster (Brewster, WA)
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions (Winthrop, WA) in a 2B Central Washington contest, on Thursday, April 18. Bridgeport will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 19-0 league loss to Okanogan (Okanogan, WA).
