April 17, 2024: Wrentham, MA 02093 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the King Philip Regional Warriors (Wrentham, MA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), by a margin of 7-2.
With the triumph, King Philip Regional moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Warriors host Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA) to play the Trojans in a non-league contest on Friday, April 19. In their next game, the Clippers play the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) in a Division 1 (State) contest, on Thursday, April 18. Cumberland will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
