April 17, 2024: Bronx, NY 10459 The Metropolitan (Bronx, NY) softball routed the visiting Martin Falcons (Jamaica, NY), 24-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Springfield Gardens (Springfield Gardens, NY). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Springfield Gardens was routed by Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, NY), 14-11, in a non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Grover Cleveland for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 1. Martin will confront a Presidents squad coming off a 20-12 non-league loss to Beach Channel (Rockaway Park, NY). The Presidents record now stands at 5-1.
