Ohio High School Baseball - Big Walnut sneaks past Marysville
April 17, 2025: Marysville, OH 43040 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) and the host Marysville Monarchs (Marysville, OH), saw Big Walnut's baseball team get by Marysville by a tally of 3-2.
The Golden Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Saline (Saline, MI). The Hornets enter the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Saline held off Bedford (Temperance, MI), 11-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Monarchs face the Benjamin Logan Raiders (Bellefontaine, OH) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 18. Marysville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 4-1 league win over Graham Local (St. Paris, OH).
