South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH), 4-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, South advances its record to 3-6 on the season. The Rebels travel to Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH) to battle the Lancers in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 22. The Lancers come into the match with a record of 7-0. Gilmour Academy won 14-2 in their recent non-league match against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH)
