In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cupertino Pioneers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Milpitas Trojans.

The Pioneers (5-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Harker (San Jose, CA). The Eagles come into the SCVAL - De Anza challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, Harker beat Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans play the King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) in a SCVAL - Foothill challenge, on Monday, April 21. Milpitas will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 3-1 league loss to Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA).
