Arizona High School Volleyball - Valley Christian tips Gilbert Christian

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Valley Christian Trojans volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Gilbert Christian Knights.

The Trojans (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Chargers come into the 3A East challenge with a 13-10 record. In their last challenge, Benjamin Franklin edged Gilbert Classical Academy (Gilbert, AZ), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the San Tan Charter Roadrunners (Gilbert, AZ) in a 3A East challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Gilbert Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over ALA - Anthem South (Florence, AZ).
