Mount St. Mary Academy Lions (Watchung, NJ) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad hold off the host Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ), 9-8 in a non-league test.

The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Stateliners enter the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Phillipsburg nipped Easton Area (Easton, PA), 15-2, in a non-league test.
