North Carolina High School Lacrosse - West Forsyth overwhelms Weddington

April 17, 2025: Matthews, NC 28104

The West Forsyth Wolverines lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the host Weddington Warriors to 7 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolverines now hold a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mill Creek for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. West Forsyth will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 13-2 league win over Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Weddington falls to 12-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Spartans in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge on Monday, April 28. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Sun Valley lost 11-9 in their recent league challenge against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)
