Illinois High School Soccer - Orion/Sherrard knocks off Quad Cities Christian
April 17, 2025: Orion, IL 61273 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Orion/Sherrard United (Orion, IL) and the visiting Quad Cities Christian Eagles (Moline, IL), saw Orion/Sherrard's soccer squad triumph over Quad Cities Christian by a count of 8-0.
The United (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Golden Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Sterling was overwhelmed by Geneseo (Geneseo, IL), 9-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Galesburg Christian Lions (Galesburg, IL) in a Northern Illinois Christian battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Quad Cities Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 5-2 league win over Unity Christian (Fulton, IL).
