Illinois High School Soccer - Ridgewood toppled by York
April 17, 2025: Elmhurst, IL 60126 York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, York advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Dukes travel to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a West Suburban - Silver test on Tuesday, April 22. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 6-3. Glenbard West lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Oswego (Oswego, IL)
The Rebels now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbard South for a Upstate Eight East match on Tuesday, April 22. Ridgewood will meet a Raiders team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 5-2.
