April 17, 2025: Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284 The Sedro-Woolley Cubs baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers to 0 in the Cubs non-league win on Thursday.
The Cubs now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anacortes for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Sedro-Woolley will play a Seahawks team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Mt. Baker drops to 0-7 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Lynden (Lynden, WA) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Lions go into the test with a record of 5-2. Lynden lost 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Sehome (Bellingham, WA)
