The Almont Raiders softball team scored 24 runs and held the host Chippewa Valley Big Reds to 17 in the Raiders non-league win on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Imlay City for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19.
