April 17, 2025: Suffolk, VA 23434 The Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints to 10 in the Dolphins non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Dolphins now hold a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Ireton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Cape Henry Collegiate will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 16-5 league loss to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy falls to 6-6 on the year. The Saints travel to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA) to clash with the Mighty Oaks in a Tidewater Independent challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Mighty Oaks go into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Norfolk Collegiate won 12-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA)
