April 17, 2025: Olney, MD 20853 The Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Gonzaga Eagles to 7 in the Falcons league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Heights for a Washington Catholic challenge on Friday, April 25. Our Lady of Good Counsel will clash with a squad coming off a 24-14 league win over Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Gonzaga falls to 7-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD) to clash with the Stags in a Washington Catholic challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Stags go into the challenge with a record of 10-3. DeMatha won 10-9 in their recent league challenge against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA)
