In Thursday's non-league test, the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) softball squad the visiting Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), by a tally of 10-7.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 18. Lincoln County will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record.

The Lions (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Logan (Logan, WV). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Logan held off Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV), 16-7, in a non-league test.
