The Shaler Area Titans softball squad (Pittsburgh, PA), was edged 13-12 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA)

With the triumph, Franklin Regional improves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA) to face the Cavaliers in a WPIAL 5A 2 contest on Friday, April 18. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a record of 3-6. Kiski Area lost 18-2 in their recent league contest against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA)
