In Friday's non-league game, the host Holy Trinity Tigers baseball team scored a close 13-9 win over the Payton College Prep Grizzlies.

The Tigers (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Maine West was overwhelmed by Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL), 10-8, in a league game.
