Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA), 14-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Lancaster improves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Northumberland (Heathsville, VA) to play the Indians in a Northern Neck game on Tuesday, April 21. The Indians enter the game with a record of 7-2. Northumberland won 10-5 in their recent league game against Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA)

The Ponies now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Broadwater Academy for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 22. Chincoteague will play a Vikings squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-2.
