In Friday's non-league test, the Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), by a tally of 17-3.

Next, the Cougars clash with the New London Wildcats (New London, OH) in a Firelands test, on Monday, April 20. Crestview will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record.

The Comets (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH). The Tigers go into the Northwest Central test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Waynesfield-Goshen was routed by Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH), 22-10, in a league test.
