The Norwell Knights edged the visiting Jay County Patriots softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Adams Central Jets (Monroe, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 20. Norwell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Jets enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Parkway (Rockford, OH).

The Patriots (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Leo (Leo, IN). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record.
