In Saturday's non-league contest, the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX), by a margin of 9-2.

With the triumph, Allen moves its record to 22-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Prosper (Prosper, TX) to play the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, April 20. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 20-3. Prosper won 9-8 in their recent league contest against Braswell (Little Elm, TX)

In their next game, the Mustangs play the North Garland Raiders (Garland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 contest, on Tuesday, April 20. Sachse will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record.
