Massachusetts High School Baseball - St. Paul gets by Pope Francis
April 18, 2022: Chicopee, MA St. Paul (Worcester, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Pope Francis Cardinals (Chicopee, MA), 9-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Paul upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The host Austin Prep (Reading, MA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 20. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 8-0. Austin Prep won 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA)
With the defeat, Pope Francis falls to 4-7 on the season. The Cardinals travel to St. John's (Shrewsbury, MA) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 20. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 4-1. St. John's won 13-0 in their recent non-league test against Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA)
