Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN), 12-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Franklin Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Flashes travel to Mooresville (Mooresville, IN) to play the Pioneers in a non-league battle on Monday, May 1. The Pioneers enter the battle with a record of 1-0.

The Dragons now possess a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pendleton Heights for a battle on Thursday, April 20.
