Illinois High School Soccer - Normal University knocks off Jacksonville
April 18, 2023: Normal, IL 61761 The Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) soccer bounced the visiting Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL), 6-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the win, Normal University moves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to battle the Maroons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 19. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Champaign Central won 6-0 in their recent league bout against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL)
In their next game, the Crimsons battle the Hillsboro Hiltoppers (Hillsboro, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 22. Jacksonville will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Hiltoppers go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 4-3 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL).
