Illinois High School Softball - LaSalle-Peru gets by Kaneland
April 18, 2023: LaSalle, IL 61301 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers (LaSalle, IL) and the visiting Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL), witnessed LaSalle-Peru's softball squad tip Kaneland by a count of 4-3.
The Cavaliers now sport a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Plano for a Interstate Eight match on Wednesday, April 19. LaSalle-Peru will meet a Reapers squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Reapers record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, Kaneland moves to 5-5 on the season. The Knights host Rochelle (Rochelle, IL) to meet the Hubs in a Interstate Eight match on Wednesday, April 19. The Hubs go into the match with a record of 2-8. Rochelle lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL)
