April 18, 2024: Georgetown, DE 19947 Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Dover Senators (Dover, DE), 12-4 in a league test.
With the win, Sussex Central upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Golden Knights host Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE) to battle the Vikings in a Henlopen North test on Tuesday, April 23. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 10-1. Cape Henlopen lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE)
With the defeat, Dover falls to 3-5 on the season. The Senators host Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-4. Hodgson Vo-Tech won 1-0 in their recent league test against DuPont (Wilmington, DE)
