April 18, 2024: Tucson, AZ 85710 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) and the host Palo Verde Titans (Tucson, AZ), saw Sunnyside's volleyball squad beat Palo Verde by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Sunnyside upgrades its record to 6-7 on the year. The Blue Devils host Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ) to play the Badgers in a bout on Tuesday, April 23. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
The Titans now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sahuaro for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 24. Palo Verde will play a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 6-10.
