The Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ) varsity volleyball team lost Thursday's home non-conference match against Phoenix Christian (Phoenix, AZ) by a score of 3-2.
In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Phoenix Christian Cougars volleyball squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Cicero Prep Academy Centurions.
The Cougars now have a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Basis for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 23.
The Centurions (4-4) will now prepare for their test against American Leadership Academy - West Foothills (Waddell, AZ). The Guardians enter the non-league test with a 14-10 record. In their last test, American Leadership Academy - West Foothills was nudged by Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a league test.
