California High School Volleyball - Encinal can't hold off St. Joseph Notre Dame
April 18, 2024: Alameda, CA 94501 The Encinal Jets volleyball team (Alameda, CA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (Alameda, CA)
The Pilots (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Christian (Dublin, CA). The Vikings come into the Bay Counties challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Valley Christian was edged by Head-Royce (Oakland, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Jets encounter the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) in a West Alameda County challenge, on Friday, April 19. Encinal will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Hayward (Hayward, CA).
