April 18, 2024: Wasilla, AK 99687 Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Malemutes confront the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) in a Railbelt challenge, on Friday, April 19. Lathrop will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK).
The Huskies now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Houston for a Northern Lights test on Tuesday, April 23.
