April 18, 2024: Deming, WA 98244 The Mt. Baker Mountaineers nudged the visiting Meridian Trojans baseball team by a tally of 11-10 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Mountaineers now hold a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ferndale for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 20. Mt. Baker will face a Golden Eagles team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
Next, the Trojans face the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 20. Meridian will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA).
