April 18, 2024: Newport News, VA 23608 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) and the host Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), saw Grafton's soccer squad beat Denbigh by a count of 4-0.
The Clippers now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Tabb for a non-league test on Friday, April 19. Grafton will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 3-3 non-league New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Denbigh drops to 2-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Warwick (Newport News, VA) to meet the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 23. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 6-1. Warwick won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Nandua (Onley, VA)
