New Jersey High School Baseball - Newark Tech edges Sussex County Tech
April 18, 2025: Newark, NJ 07103 The Newark Tech Terries baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Sussex County Tech to 1 in the Terries non-league win on Friday.
The Terries now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Shabazz for a SEC - Colonial test on Monday, April 21. Newark Tech will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Sussex County Tech drops to 4-6 on the year. The travel to Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ) to play the Devils in a NJAC - Colonial test on Tuesday, April 22. The Devils go into the test with a record of 1-8.
