Indiana High School Softball - Munster sneaks past Leo

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Munster Mustangs softball team scored a tight 5-4 win over the Leo Lions.

The Mustangs (12-3) will now prepare for their match against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Wildcats come into the Northwest Crossroads match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Hanover Central was nipped by Lowell (Lowell, IN), 5-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 19. Leo will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 4-1 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN).
