April 18, 2025: Russellville, AL 35654 Winston County Yellowjackets (Double Springs, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL), 9-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Winston County improves its record to 12-7 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Shoals Christian (Florence, AL) to face the Flame in a non-league game on Monday, April 21. The Flame enter the game with a record of 11-17. Shoals Christian lost 14-2 in their recent non-league outing against Winston County (Double Springs, AL)
