In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Mayfield Panthers baseball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the Corinth Riverhawks.

The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 2 Western - Southern game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Berne-Knox-Westerlo was overwhelmed by Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY), 15-5, in a league game.

Next, the Riverhawks play the Cambridge/Salem (Cambridge, NY) in a game, on Monday, April 20. Corinth will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The go into the game with a 3-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Warrensburg (Warrensburg, NY).
