The Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights lacrosse team (Wheeling, WV), was overwhelmed 14-7 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA)

With the victory, Trinity advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Hillers host Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA) to encounter the Colts in a WPIAL 2A 1 battle on Monday, April 27. The Colts come into the battle with a record of 10-3.

The Maroon Knights now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Linsly School for a WVSLA -DI West battle on Tuesday, April 21. Wheeling Central Catholic will encounter a Cadets team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Cadets record now stands at 6-3.
