The Gaston Day Spartans baseball team (Gastonia, NC), was overwhelmed 14-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting The Burlington School Spartans (Burlington, NC)

The Spartans now hold a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to McMichael for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 20. The Burlington School will face a Phoenix team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 16-2.
