North Carolina High School Baseball - Hough wallops Independence
April 19, 2022: Cornelius, NC 28031 Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hough upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Huskies host East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 20. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 9-7. East Forsyth won 8-5 in their recent league test against Glenn (Kernersville, NC)
With the defeat, Independence falls to 4-7 on the season. The Patriots host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to battle the Stallions in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 20. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 0-4. Queen's Grant lost 20-0 in their recent non-league test against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)
