April 19, 2022: Chicago, IL 60621 Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Urban Prep-Englewood Lions (Chicago, IL), 1-0 in a league battle.
The Eagles now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lane Tech for a Chicago Public battle on Friday, April 22. Taft will clash with a Lane Tech squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Latin (Chicago, IL). The Lane Tech record now stands at 9-2.
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public battle, on Wednesday, April 20. Urban Prep-Englewood will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 16-10 league loss to Taft (Chicago, IL).
